Aberdeen Archives, Gallery & Museums: Performance and Events Officer

Duration:Â Â Permanent, Part Time (22.2 hours per week)
We are looking for Performance and Events Officer to support the work of Aberdeen, Archives, Gallery & Museums.
This exciting role will develop a full programme of music performances and events at our Cowdray Hall concert venue which is part of the award-winning Art Gallery building complex.
The role will also take the lead on enhancing the Museums and Gallery visitor experience through a variety of media including participatory events, performance art, dance, spoken word and music across all venues.
If you are our ideal candidate, you must demonstrate good knowledge and experience of the cultural scene, locally and nationally with a particular emphasis on music and the performing arts. You should be qualified in performance, music or event management with experience in a cultural programming environment and working with national companies, touring organisations and promoters.
We expect you to be creative, proactive, positive, well-organised and a team player with a strong visitor focus.
