The Exhibitions Group Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Museums and Galleries Exhibition Tax Relief (MGETR) session with Mo Suleman will take place online (Zoom) on Monday 9 November 2026, 12:00 – 13:30.

The papers for the 2026 AGM will be published here in due course. Members will be able to vote at the AGM.
Alongside the AGM element, Museums and Galleries Exhibition Tax Relief (MGETR) expert Mo Suleman will join the AGM to deliver a session on MGETR.
Mo will explain why MGETR is more than just an accounting exercise, and why it’s a vital source of funding that can directly support creativity, staffing and public access in museums and galleries. Even if you are a council run museum that doesn’t currently claim MGETR, Mo covers what councils can do to allow them to claim.
Members will be able to send questions in advance for Mo, and have the opportunity to ask Mo questions during the session.
All members will receive an email in due course with further details about the AGM and session with Mo, and how to submit questions in advance.
