The National Gallery Masterpiece Tour 2025- 2027: Open Call for Partners
We are seeking four partners for the National Gallery Masterpiece Tour 2025-2027.
The National Gallery Collection belongs to the public and we are committed to sharing the collection, enabling access, and engaging with diverse audiences. The Masterpiece Tour offers UK museums, galleries and art centres the opportunity to partner with the National Gallery, collaborating to displaying major works from the collection across the UK.
For this iteration, the participating organisations will collaborate for three years to display three major works from the collection, beginning with the display of Claude Monet’s The Petit Bras of the Seine at Argenteuil, 1872.
As part of this edition of the Masterpiece Tour, partners will also engage a local community organisation to support the exhibition or public programme related to each Masterpiece painting. The National Gallery will provide a financial contribution to each partner, specifically for engaging and working with their chosen community partner(s). Working in partnership over three years will enable us all to learn together, connect with existing and new audiences, share good practice and develop a new network.
