Travelling Bricks has welcomed more than 5,000 visitors in its first six days at Peterborough Cathedral, exceeding the venue’s initial expectations.
Presented by World Touring Exhibitions, Travelling Bricks explores the history of transport through more than one million LEGO® bricks. The exhibition features 120 models across 60 scenes, covering travel by land, sea, air and space.
Highlights include a 7.2-metre model of the Titanic, built from 200,000 bricks, alongside models of the Boeing 747, HMS Victory, SS Great Britain and a three-metre-high rocket.
For its Peterborough presentation, the exhibition is accompanied by the Giant Soft Bricks Playland, providing an additional activity area for younger children. Visitors can also create their own models in an interactive building zone containing more than 200,000 bricks.
The exhibition has received a strong response from families and has attracted coverage from the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, Peterborough Telegraph and MSN, alongside extensive engagement across Peterborough Cathedral’s social media channels.
Travelling Bricks is open at Peterborough Cathedral until 29 August 2026.
