We are delighted to announce Jenny Waldman (left) Director at Art Fund, and Sara Wajid MBE (right), Co-CEO Birmingham Museums Trust, will be joining us at Exhibitions Connect 2025 as part of an ‘in-conversation’ session titled Funding Futures: Funding Bodies and Exhibitions Shaping Cultural Policy.
Jenny has led Art Fund since 2020 in increasing its support for the sector through its charitable funding programme including: developing, diversifying and sharing collections; growing audiences through the National Art Pass, Student Art Pass and Teacher Art Pass; and championing museums and galleries with major events such as Art Fund Museum of the Year, the world’s largest museum prize.
In addition to working at Birmingham Museums Trust, Sara is a founder member of the Museum Detox network for people of colour in museums and an active advocate for diversity and equality issues in the arts. Sara is also a judge for the Museum and Heritage awards, and a member of ITV’s Cultural Advisory Council. Before working in museums Sara was a cultural commentator, journalist and editor.
