Evaluating Exhibition Spaces: Measuring Impact and Value
How can exhibition programmers and museum leaders capture and communicate the true impact of their spaces?
Following the publication of Measuring Social and Cultural Infrastructure, the British Academy is hosting a practical online workshop with The Exhibitions Group, exploring how this new measurement framework can help cultural organisations evaluate and demonstrate the value of exhibition spaces.
Taking place on Tuesday 9 December 2025 (10:00–12:00, Zoom), the session will guide participants through the stages of the framework and show how it can be applied in an exhibitions context. Attendees will gain insights into why measuring and evaluating exhibition spaces matters, and how this evidence can help shape policy and strengthen the case for cultural investment.
The workshop is free to attend and delivered in collaboration with the British Academy’s Public Policy team. Places are very limited. Please only book a place if you can attend on the day. If you can no longer attend please cancel your place with as much notice as possible.
