Mapping the Touring Landscape

The Mapping the Touring Landscape report covers wide-ranging issues and findings concerning exhibition touring and programming, and contains recommendations for the future development of the touring sector, relating to organisational, regional and national infrastructure needs.

The research project, conducted from 2005-7, was funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, and was carried out by independent consultant, Sally Fort. More than 250 organisations contributed to surveys and consultations, aimed at mapping touring activity across the UK.
