We’re Recruiting Trustees – Application Deadline 09.09.24
Do you enjoy visiting exhibitions and have an interest in the arts and heritage sector?
The Touring Exhibitions Group (TEG) is looking to recruit trustees to our Board at an exciting time in our growth and development.
We are looking for individuals with a passion for our work and who can bring new perspectives as we shape a bold new vision for our organisation.
The Touring Exhibitions Group (TEG) is the home of exhibitions practice. A non-profit membership organisation, dedicated to supporting the exhibitions community, we believe exhibitions are well placed to engage more people with arts and culture, making a vital contribution to the dynamism and wellbeing of society. We advocate for the sector and advance its skills and knowledge in the field of making and hosting exhibitions through our professional development programme and networking events.
TEG is funded by the Arts Council as an IPSO (Investment Principles Support Organisation) until 2027 and is currently developing a strategy for the development and long-term sustainability of the organisation.
Requirements of the Role:
- Board meetings ONLINE 4 times a year
- Plus an in-person event at least once a year and subcommittee meetings online
- Unpaid position, expenses covered
We are committed to widening our board – who they are and their backgrounds – and strongly encourage applications from people who can bring different viewpoints, lived experience and perspectives to our work.
We welcome all applications, but are particularly interested in hearing from those with skills and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Charitable governance
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
- Business development
- Financial Management
- Fundraising
- Research

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a brief informal interview online with a small panel of Trustees.
Successful applicants will be recommended to our members at our AGM on Monday 7th October 2024.
