Announcing an Exciting New Chapter for Touring Exhibitions Group
As we approach our 40th year in 2025, the consulting team and trustees have been looking at how we further strengthen and develop the organisation in readiness for the next 40 years.
With this in mind, we are delighted to reveal our new name and new look.
A fresh new contemporary image
Touring Exhibitions Group is changing its name to The Exhibitions Group following a strategic review by the Trustees. The organisation will retain specialist knowledge and expertise within touring, but the new name reflects the range of exhibitions support now offered by the charity and the diversity of the sector. It will enable us to grow our membership and further build our community and impact, for the benefit of all members. The new name will take effect immediately.
Following a formal tender process, Isle Studio were appointed to develop a new logo and look-and-feel for The Exhibitions Group.
Please play the animation below to see the changes.
Over the coming weeks we will evolve from the Touring Exhibitions Group to The Exhibitions Group, to incorporate our new visual identity.
Building an online sector community
We want to reach more people who can benefit from our support and with this in mind, over the coming weeks we will also be launching new digital platforms.
- An Instagram profile will enable us to highlight the incredible exhibitions our members create and the venues that host them.
- A LinkedIn group will be open to everyone working in the sector as a place to connect, network, share ideas, and seek support from each other.
- A new website for The Exhibitions Group will be launched in 2025 which will include a range of updated resources and toolkits, case studies, and more.
Come and join us in London
2025 marks our 40th anniversary and we are pleased to announce that our annual networking and showcasing event, Exhibitions Connect (formerly TEG Connects), will take place at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London on 29th April 2025.
How we are preparing for the next 40 years
Throughout our first year of Arts Council England funding, we have worked hard to lay some robust foundations on which to achieve our objectives.
Our work in 2024-25 includes an exciting public-facing transformation, which marks the start of a new chapter for the organisation, alongside the finalising of our ambitious 5-year strategy.
We would like to thank Arts Council England, our members, sponsors and sector partners, and wider exhibitions community for their continued support. We hope these changes demonstrate our deep commitment to strengthening and supporting the evolving needs of the exhibitions sector.
Here’s to the next 40 years of The Exhibitions Group!
